The designer's abiding fondness for New York City is fused into the collection with key references to street styling and the city's industrial color palette. The deconstructed tailored onepiece paired with wide, baggy jeans and the front cutted tailored suit styled with a classic beanie are inspired by and rooted to the designer's childhood nostalgia for hip hop culture and his ongoing strive to reinvent fashion to satisfy the complex and intellectual mind. By challenging conventional proportions and manipulating familiar silhouettes, MOOHONG puts a twist to everyday staple items such as the trench coat and tailored jacket, demonstrating the harmonious execution of merging the meticulous craftsmanship of tailoring and the radical act of deconstruction.
